The rubber band twisting was way more fun than I expected, and watching the ice melt and bleed color into the fabric felt like a little science experiment. My hat came out with these wild, one-of-a-kind swirls that I actually want to wear everywhere.

The ice melting over the hat created such a cool, unpredictable swirl pattern that even my kid’s skeptical art teacher asked where we got it. Watching the dye spread as the cubes dissolved turned into a mini science lesson, and the socks came out just as vibrant as the hat.
