The bubble mix included in the kit is surprisingly thick and produced big, sturdy bubbles that actually lasted a few seconds before popping. My six-year-old and I had a blast testing how slow we had to wave the wands to get the biggest ones.

The DIY wand assembly was simple enough for my six-year-old to handle with minimal help, and the bubble mix itself produced surprisingly sturdy, long-lasting spheres. We spent a whole afternoon on the patio testing which wand shape made the biggest ones.

My kids were obsessed with how the bubbles held their shape before popping, and the DIY wands survived some serious backyard abuse. The bubble mix lasted way longer than I expected for a small kit, which made the science lesson feel like a bonus.
