My kids were mesmerized by how the patterns on these tops blend into new colors once they start spinning — it honestly looks like magic. The marker customization kept them busy for a whole afternoon, and I even caught myself doodling designs to test.

My kids kept fighting over the three twirling tops, so I grabbed some markers and we spent a whole afternoon testing color blends on the patterns. Watching the optical illusions shift as they spin is genuinely mesmerizing, even for me. This is the kind of hands-on science kit that actually gets them

I was skeptical that a simple top could fool my eyes, but the spinning patterns genuinely blur and morph in a way that has my kids grabbing markers to redesign them every single day. It’s the perfect hands-on way to show how color and motion trick the brain, and the blank tops mean the experiments n
