The spring mechanism is surprisingly sturdy for a kids' toy, and swapping the leg positions to change jump height kept us busy for an afternoon. My daughter loved decorating it before we tested each new configuration, and the physics talk that sparked from it was a nice bonus.

My kid’s been experimenting with the spring mechanism all afternoon, tweaking the jump height each time — it’s genuinely cool that you can customize the design and see the physics change in real time. The assembly was straightforward too, so we got straight to the fun part.

My kids spent an entire afternoon tweaking the leg angles to see how far it would hop, and the spring-powered launcher never lost its snap. The customization part is surprisingly forgiving for little hands, and I loved watching them figure out why it jumped higher with each small adjustment.
