Flipper

My son spent an entire rainy afternoon hunched over the table, and the satisfaction on his face when that first ball actually bounced off the rubber band flipper was priceless. The kit gives you everything you need to make it truly work, not just a static model.

We built this together over two rainy afternoons and the launchers actually work way better than I expected. My daughter keeps rearranging the bumpers to change the score, so it's clearly getting played more than her usual toys.

My son is normally done with a project in an hour, but this kit kept him engaged for three afternoons straight. The flippers and spring launcher actually work once you get the rubber bands seated right, and the satisfaction of hearing that first ball ring the bell was worth every minute of setup.
