We pulled this out on a rainy afternoon and my daughter was fully engaged for over an hour, naming emotions she usually struggles to put into words. The hands-on aspect really clicks with her, and I love that it’s creative rather than just another worksheet.

My kid asked to do the feelings activity three times in one afternoon, and I love that it’s so hands-on — no screens, just sorting through the cards and talking about what each emotion means. It’s turned a tricky conversation into something we actually laugh through together.

I wasn’t sure a feelings activity would hold my kid’s attention, but the hands-on approach kept her engaged for a full half hour without prompting. She even started naming her own emotions during dinner afterwards, which felt like a real win.
