Biology Blocks Shape Sorter

My daughter asks for this toy every morning before breakfast—the DNA helix pieces are her favorite to match up. It's sturdy enough to survive being thrown across the room, which says a lot. Watching her figure out which organelle goes where has been surprisingly entertaining for both of us.

The little mitochondria and cell shapes are such a clever twist on a classic sorter—my daughter actually asks to match them by name now. The pieces are chunky enough for her small hands, and the bright colors keep her focused way longer than I expected for a toddler toy.

My three-year-old keeps grabbing this sorter every morning, and I love that the biology shapes give us a chance to talk about cells and leaves while she practices matching. The colors are bright enough to hold her attention, and the pieces fit nicely into little hands without being too loose.
