Eco Krittmaker

My kids were so excited to build this together, and the fact that it actually melts the crayon pieces using only sunlight felt like a little science experiment every time. We made a batch of rainbow crayons on the first sunny afternoon, and they came out solid and perfect for coloring.

The solar-powered setup is such a clever twist—my daughter actually begged to wait for a sunny day to use it. We melted down a bag of old stubs into chunky rainbow discs in about an hour, and the mold pieces clicked together without any mess.

My kids were amazed watching broken crayon bits melt into a fresh rainbow disc using nothing but the sun. The mold is sturdy enough for little hands to manage, and cleanup was quicker than I expected. We've already made three batches this week.
