The pegboard is surprisingly satisfying to poke through, and the templates slide in and out cleanly without bending. My kid spent a solid hour making a rainbow pattern and then animated it by moving a few pegs between frames, which was way more engaging than I expected for a simple toy.

The templates are sturdy enough that I don’t worry about bent corners, and changing designs takes no time at all. I’ve already made three patterns this evening, and the glow really pops against the white screen.

My kids fought over who got to poke the next peg into the screen, and the glow when the light shines through is honestly mesmerizing. Even my husband snuck in to make a pattern after they went to bed.
