We built and launched these before dinner, and the way the straws actually fly when you pump the air chamber is such a great little lesson in trajectory. It held my daughter's attention way longer than I expected, and we kept tweaking the angle to see how far we could send them.

My kids spent a whole afternoon experimenting with how far they could launch straws by changing the angle, and it was awesome to see them actually grasping the air pressure concept without realizing they were learning. The pieces fit together easily, so they could focus on the science instead of get

We've launched straws across the living room for two days straight, and the way it teaches air pressure through actual play is sneaky smart. The trajectory part really clicked with my six-year-old after just a few tries.
