Chemiczny kalejdoskop | KiwiCo

The test tube layering setup is beautifully simple—my kids kept shaking them to watch the glitter swirl before the density settled again. Even the grownups got weirdly hooked on finding the perfect color combo for each layer.

My kids spent a whole afternoon layering the colored liquids in the test tubes, and the glitter floating between the density levels looked exactly like a tiny galaxy. The kaleidoscope viewer is such a clever touch, turning a simple science lesson into something they actually think is magic.

The test tube setup is sturdier than I expected for a kids' kit, and the density layering actually held together long enough for my son to admire the floating glitter effect. Took a bit of patience to get the colors to stack right, but the wow factor when it worked was worth it.
