Wood Wands

The wood is smooth and lightweight, so even my four-year-old can wave hers around without it slipping. We grabbed some paint and glitter from our craft drawer and she spent a whole afternoon decorating, then insisted on a magic show for the dog that night. Really lovely blank canvas for a rainy day.

My kids turned these plain wands into their own magical creations in one afternoon, and the blank wood surface took paint and glitter perfectly. They've been playing with them every day since, which says a lot for craft projects that usually end up forgotten in a drawer.

My daughter spent an entire rainy afternoon decorating hers with paint and stickers, and the smooth wood took everything beautifully. It's rare to find a craft that lets kids go totally wild without needing cleanup help. We're already planning a second set for her cousin's birthday.
