Fiskespel | KiwiCo

My six-year-old assembled the rod almost entirely by herself, and the ratchet mechanism made her feel like a real angler. We spent a whole rainy afternoon crafting the lures and fish, and the pieces are sturdy enough for repeated casting across the living room.

The ratchet on the reel actually clicks and holds the line, so my son could reel in the fish without the string slipping back. He built the whole rod in about twenty minutes and now the three different fish and lures keep him busy for hours.

My kid assembled the whole rod herself in about twenty minutes, and the ratchet reel actually clicks and holds line just like a real one. The three fish have such different shapes that she keeps arguing which one fights the hardest.
