Rekordracer

My kids spent the whole afternoon building this without any frustration, and the record player-inspired mechanism actually spins as it races across the floor. It's cleverly designed and sturdy enough for repeat runs.

The way the turntable-inspired design doubles as a spinning flywheel is such a clever touch, and my kid had it snapping together in under twenty minutes. He’s already raced it across the kitchen floor three times, grinning the whole way.

The motor whirs and the wheels spin up exactly like a real record player turntable—my son couldn’t stop grinning when he saw it move. Assembly took us about twenty minutes, and the pieces click together so satisfyingly that I almost wanted to build a second one myself.
