My kids fight over whose turn it is to sharpen now, which says everything. It goes through their colored pencils in seconds and leaves a point fine enough for detailed drawings, no broken tips or cranky hands.

The motor shuts off the moment the pencil hits the perfect point, so I don't have to keep checking and oversharpening. Honestly, it's made doing my sketchbook prep so much quicker that I've stopped reaching for my old manual one.

My daughter uses this every evening for her homework and it's honestly kind of satisfying to watch the blade catch the pencil and pull it in. The fine point it leaves is perfect for her math work, and I don't have to hear her complain about broken lead anymore.
