The powder dissolves almost instantly in warm water, so I didn't have to stir forever to get an even color. I mixed a few shades to get a deep teal for some old napkins, and the result looks store-bought, not tie-dye messy at all.

I was honestly expecting more of a mess, but the powder dissolves cleanly and the colors came out way more vivid than my last attempt with liquid dye. I mixed a small batch for some old cotton tees and they turned out exactly the shade I was going for.

Mixing a little of the blue and red powder gave me the exact purple I was chasing for my tote bag, and it held up beautifully after a wash. The colors really pop on cotton, and I love that I can control the intensity by just adding more powder.
