Windgong

My kids and I spent a rainy Saturday building the stand and then spent another hour just tapping the different-sized chimes to hear how the pitch changes. The color coding on each tube made it easy for my six-year-old to match them up.

My kids and I put ours together in about an hour, and the sound difference between the long and short chimes is genuinely cool to hear. I love that it's a hands-on kit that teaches pitch while making something we actually hang outside.

Assembling the stand was surprisingly quick, and the different-sized chimes really do produce distinct tones when you tap them. The included striker makes it easy to test the pitch, and I’ve been enjoying the colorful result hanging on my porch.
