My kids were absolutely giddy watching the bubbles stream out after we finished building it, and the mechanism is simple enough that they actually understood how the air flow creates each one. The chemistry experiments included were a fantastic bonus for a rainy afternoon.

My eight-year-old and I spent a whole afternoon building this together, and the moment the first stream of bubbles appeared she squealed so loud the dog hid. Watching the bubble chemistry explain why the mixture works really brought the science home for her.

The motorized bubble wand was fun to assemble with my son, and watching him experiment with the soap mixture to see which ratios made the biggest bubbles was genuinely cool. It’s held up to a week of backyard testing, too.
